I have been looking for the same answer. I haven't found a definitive answer yet but have been told that it may be possibel to attach a Thule fairing to the rack.
I assume you are also bothered by the noise. It is really loud while driving. I can't believe it is marketed as aerodynamic. I should have bought a thule rack instead.
