Will a thule fairing work on a different roof rack?

i want to buy this roof rack for my new car that is some random generic brand becasue its alot cheaper, and i need a fairing, but the only companies that make them are thule and yakima. will a thule/yakima fairing work on a regular roof rack|||Yes...
