If the tubing walls of your bike are very thin, this might not be the best bike carrier to use, the clamp could dent or crush the tube. If the tubing walls are thin, a carrier like the 594XT which holds the bike by clamping the front wheel might be better. Any fork mount carrier would also work, although these mean that you have to remove the front wheel.
